Your (wardrobe) guide to a Disney Day

Hey there! So last week I did something I've wanted to do for a while now... I got a Disneyland Annual Pass!

Living in California all my life, I have always had a special place in my heart for Disney, and since I go to college nearby I thought- well why not? And to commemorate my favorite place on earth, I thought it would be fun to share my take on how I dress for Disneyland.

When I went last week I experienced the whole range of California's weather in just a few hours. The morning was sunny and clear- so I went with the fool proof look of some denim shorts and a tee. I wore my vintage Levi high waisted shorts with a black and white striped long sleeve. For shoes, I went comfy with some white converse and to accessorize...my ears of course!

However, as pictured above, the weather quickly turned on us. After getting off Tower of Terror, we were surprised to see the sky had turned grey and it began to pour- within the few minutes of the ride!  The first photo of the castle and the one above were taken within hours of each other! Oh, California! I had packed some jeans and a sweater, thank goodness!

Disneyland is all walking, so my advice is to wear something you are comfortable in, but still feeling cute enough to pose with Eeyore! I almost always wear something to match my ears, so I have stocked up on a few striped shirts for the Disney Days to come!

I am sure this will not be the last Disney post, now that I have that AP status, but I had to start somewhere! :) Have a great week and see you on here soon!

"Watch" Out

Hello all! Sorry for the lack of posting- college has been so busy that content is hard to take and upload! But I am trying to make time for weekly posts, I promise!

I got this watch this weekend at a little boutique by my house. It is a pale pink with gold trimmings and a large white face. It stood out to me in the store because 1) I have never seen this color band before 2) it was so simple, yet chic for everyday use and 3) I was itching to add to my watch collection! Similar here and here.

I am working on some new content, I PROMISE!

Floral Print

Today I wore this colorful floral shift dress. I love how the colors stand out against the black, and it makes it easy to wear this print in winter! I parked it with a army green cardi, and some taupe ankle booties (similar here). Super simple, but super cute!

Sunday Fun-day //

Hello all! So sorry for the lack of posting! Finals, last minute Christmas shopping, and the endless coffee runs were consuming my life but now everything is beginning to slow down! Phew! Hope everyone had a great holiday season and I cannot wait to share some of the new pieces I got under the tree!

Today was my shopping/ return day, so I had to be comfy running around town! Although I set out to exchange some things, I came home with more than I left with (as always). These Lucky Brand jeans are my new obsession and paired with ankle booties? Um, yes please! On top, I went easy with a blue tee and some gold accessories.

Thanks for stopping by!

Watch Wednesday

Long time, no post!

All of my life, I was never a "watch person." However, now that my life has gotten busier and my track of time is getting more and more questionable, I have one of these little babies on my wrist almost everyday. I've seen so many cute ones around, and this one was a birthday gift! The design allows it to sit alone, or the gold hardware makes it easy to layer! Running late to class has never been stylish.

Thanks for stopping by and happy hump day!

Forever 21 Favorites

Clockwise from top left: Faux Suede Fringe Mini Skirt, Faux Leather Lace-Up Flats, Contemporary Ribbed Cowl Neck Sweater, Bauble Stone Ring Set

Here are a few fall favorites from Forever 21! The black fringe skirt is so cute, I can see this with a sweater or long sleeve crop top and some ankle booties for sure. I've been looking for some of these lace up flats, and these are a close replica of the Steve Madden ones. And who doesn't love a good, roomy sweater when it gets cold outside? The cowl neck gives this plain sweater some dimension, and extra warmth! Every time I walk into a store, I head for the accessories wall first. Even if I don't need a thing, I can't walk out without peeking at the rings and necklaces...bad habit for sure. Here are some cute stone ones, and I like that the gold is somewhat vintage-y looking!
